Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, held a meeting with Kosovo’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Glauk Konjufca, on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum in Croatia.

Hoxha announced the meeting in a post on X, stating that the two officials discussed current developments in Albania, Kosovo, and the wider region, as well as European affairs of mutual interest.

He noted that while Kosovo is currently in the process of reviewing its election results and forming new institutions, Albania has entered the final phase of its negotiations for membership in the European Union. According to Hoxha, this makes continuous coordination and the exchange of ideas between the two countries increasingly important.

“The exchange of ideas, analyses, and approaches, along with close coordination aimed at strengthening and expanding cooperation, remains the key to advancing our mutual and shared interests,” Hoxha wrote.

He added that joint action and a clear vision for the future would further strengthen relations between Albania and Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of Albania’s European Union integration, Kosovo’s continued development, and the broader Euro-Atlantic future of the region.
