U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran has “agreed to almost everything we need” as part of negotiations aimed at reaching a final agreement between the two countries.
In an interview with CNBC, Trump was asked about the possibility of escalating tensions with Iran and whether the conflict could evolve into one of the “endless wars” he has repeatedly said he wants to avoid.
He stated that Iran has accepted commitments related to refraining from developing nuclear weapons, referring to an agreement signed last month.
Trump also said that the current situation with Iran is more limited in scope compared with other conflicts, claiming that the United States has inflicted significant military losses on Tehran, although Iran still retains missile capabilities.
His remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran, while negotiations toward a comprehensive agreement remain underway.
