Prime Minister Albin Kurti spoke from Turkey about the problems our state has with Serbia, stating that Serbia does not acknowledge the crimes committed by Milošević.
The head of the government said that Kosovo will not remain silent and will seek justice for the victims.
“We have problems with Serbia because they do not recognize our independence and do not acknowledge the crimes committed by Milošević, which are war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocidal. We will never remain silent about this and will always seek justice for the victims. They killed 10,000 unarmed, defenseless civilians. They killed 1,133 children 25 years ago, and 20,000 women and girls were raped,” Kurti stated.
“They deny these things and, in addition, they do not want to acknowledge the existence of the Republic of Kosovo as an independent, sovereign, democratic state that is a champion in the Balkans in terms of progress in democracy and the rule of law,” Kurti added.
Kurti further stated that our state is not against Serbs.
“We are not against Serbs; Serbia is against us. They will bear the burden themselves because we will develop and progress,” Kurti concluded.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
