The Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety meets, approves quotas for new students

The 45th meeting of the Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) was held, chaired by the board chairperson and Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha; the Chief Executive of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, Kushtrim Hodaj; the Director General of Kosovo Customs, Agron Llugaliu; the Director General of KAPS, Shpend Shabani; the representative of the Kosovo Probation Service, Driton Zogiani; as well as representatives from the OSCE and senior academy officials.

During the meeting, important issues related to the development of the academy were reviewed, while the board approved the admission quotas for new students in the bachelor’s program “Public Safety” for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The board members also discussed the reaccreditation process of the study program, preparations for the fifth International Scientific Conference of KAPS, and the revision of the academy’s training plan for 2026.
