Former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has stated that missing persons remain the deepest wound of Kosovo’s society and that uncovering the fate of those who disappeared during the last war is a national responsibility.
Following the discovery of a suspected mass grave in the village of Kalludër, in Zubin Potok, Haradinaj said the case requires a serious and professional investigation, as well as continuous efforts to pressure Serbia to open its military archives and reveal the locations where the victims’ remains were taken.
“There can be no complete peace without uncovering the fate of every missing person. At every discussion table, this must remain a central issue in order to remind Serbia of its crimes, while firmly demanding justice for the victims and answers for the families who have been waiting for years,” Haradinaj stated.
He emphasized that the search for the missing and the pursuit of justice must remain a priority until the fate of all victims is fully clarified.
