LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku spoke after his nearly three-hour meeting with Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, saying that the discussion was constructive and that efforts to reach an agreement will continue.

“This was the second meeting after the June 7 elections, held with good will… We must avoid new elections at all costs,” Abdixhiku said.

He described the meeting as positive, saying that the two sides discussed political and programmatic issues.

“It was a good and successful meeting. We addressed programmatic and political matters. We will continue our efforts in the coming days to have more substantial and detailed discussions,” Abdixhiku stated.

He added that any potential agreement must also ensure democratic balance.
