Kosovo Customs has recorded a significant increase in revenue during the first seven months of 2026, collecting more than €1.15 billion.
According to Customs data, gross revenues for January–July 2026 reached €1,153,076,683, compared with €1,085,940,460 during the same period in 2025.
That represents an increase of 6.18%, or approximately €67.14 million more than a year earlier.
Revenue by category:
- Customs duties: €110.61 million — up 6.84%
- Excise taxes: €366.16 million — up 4.00%
- VAT: €673.47 million — up 7.21%
VAT remains the largest contributor, accounting for more than half of total Customs revenue.
Kosovo Customs attributed the increase to continued efforts to improve revenue collection, strengthen customs controls, increase operational efficiency and enforce customs legislation.
The institution also highlighted its ongoing efforts toward digitalization and trade facilitation, while maintaining measures to protect Kosovo’s financial interests.
With more than €1.15 billion collected in just seven months, the figures mark a strong increase in public revenue and set a new milestone for Kosovo Customs.
