The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will not attend the meeting called by Acting President Albulena Haxhiu.
LDK has decided to ignore Haxhiu’s invitation for tomorrow’s meeting, a party official told Gazeta Express.
“We did not reject it, but we ignored the invitation,” the source said.
On Friday, Haxhiu invited political party leaders or their representatives to a joint meeting scheduled for Tuesday at the Presidency.
According to the invitation sent to the political parties, the meeting was called to discuss “current political and institutional developments and the importance of reaching an agreement on a consensual President, and consequently the formation of the other constitutional institutions.”
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) have also refused to attend the meeting.
