Ukraine and Russia have exchanged 103 prisoners of war each in a new prisoner swap between the two countries. The exchange was reported by Russia’s Interfax news agency, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The two sides have exchanged thousands of captured soldiers in relatively regular intervals throughout the conflict, which has now entered its fifth year.
With peace talks still out of sight, prisoner exchanges remain one of the few areas in which Ukraine and Russia continue to cooperate, according to DW.
