The new head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Antero Lopes, held his first meeting with Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, in Prishtina on Wednesday.
The meeting was described as fruitful, with Lopes reaffirming EULEX’s commitment to working closely with Kosovo’s rule-of-law institutions.
According to EULEX, Lopes emphasized the mission’s readiness to engage in constructive dialogue with its counterparts in the justice and rule-of-law sector to advance institutional accountability, justice and long-term stability for all communities in Kosovo.
The meeting comes as EULEX continues to support Kosovo’s rule-of-law institutions and contribute to efforts aimed at strengthening accountability and stability across the country.
