Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense has awarded a contract worth more than €219,000 for the supply of medical medicines and pharmaceutical products for the needs of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).
According to the contract award notice, the total value of the contract is €219,283.35, while the winning economic operator is MATKOS PHARM LLC from Prishtina.
A total of four tenders were submitted as part of the procurement procedure. The contract was awarded to the bidder that submitted the lowest-priced responsive tender. The highest responsive bid was valued at €268,742.77.
The Ministry of Defense had initially estimated the value of the contract at €275,000.
The contract is scheduled to be signed on September 14, 2026, while the framework agreement will remain in force for 36 months.
According to the procurement documents, the supply of medicines is intended to contribute to strengthening the operational capacity and efficiency of the KSF in carrying out its duties, in line with the mission of the Kosovo Security Force and the Ministry of Defense.
