The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, met today, September 21, 2026, with a delegation of members of the French National Assembly, accompanied by France’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jean-François Huchet.
According to a statement, the meeting focused on relations between Kosovo and France, the importance of deepening cooperation, and strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
“Chairman Abdixhiku expressed his gratitude for France’s continued support for Kosovo, as well as for its contribution to democratic processes, institutional development, and Kosovo’s progress toward European integration,” the statement said.
Abdixhiku further stressed the importance of maintaining close cooperation with France and its support for Kosovo’s membership in international organizations, as well as strengthening the country’s position on the international stage.
