A protest in support of the former KLA leaders is continuing in Prishtina, six days after the verdict by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
A large number of citizens have gathered in Prishtina’s main square, protesting the verdict against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.
Among the banners displayed in the square is the message “Not in My Name,” while another reads “Error 404, Justice Not Found.”
According to Abelard Tahiri, a member of the PDK leadership who recently met with Thaçi in The Hague, the former president sent his greetings to the citizens taking part in the protest.
The protest is continuing in Prishtina’s main square, with large numbers of citizens remaining at the site of the gathering.
