Albulena Haxhiu visited today the family of Kosovo hero Afrim Bunjaku on the anniversary of his death in the line of duty during the terrorist attack in Banjska.
Haxhiu expressed her condolences to the family, emphasizing that the pain of his loss remains great, but that the family should also be proud of his sacrifice.
“Stay strong. I know that the pain remains great, but at the same time, you should be proud of his deeds,” Haxhiu said.
She emphasized that Kosovo has continuously called on its international partners to pressure Serbia to transfer terrorist leader Milan Radoičić and other individuals involved in the Banjska attack to Kosovo.
“To transfer terrorist leader Milan Radoičić and the other terrorists to Kosovo. There are 40 people whom Kosovo is seeking, and we have continuously asked our partners to pressure Serbia to transfer them so that they can face justice in the Republic of Kosovo,” Haxhiu said.
According to Haxhiu, this issue was among the topics discussed by Prime Minister Albin Kurti during his stay in the United States.
