The traditional “Racing Wolf 2026” competition concluded today, September 25, 2026, at the “NATO Soldiers” Barracks in Istog, with 20 teams from Kosovo Security Force (KSF) units taking part.
According to the announcement, the competition was organized by the Land Forces Command (LFC). First place went to the 2nd Infantry Regiment (K2B2), second place to the KSF Military Police, and third place to the 2nd Infantry Regiment (K2MB).
“The ‘Racing Wolf’ competition was first held in 2015 as a result of the exchange of experiences between KSF non-commissioned officers and those from the Slovenian contingent,” the announcement dated September 25, 2026, stated.
The competitors were challenged in several disciplines, including a 1.6 km run, tactical obstacle course, pushing an HMMWV armored vehicle for 50 meters, crossing a hazardous area, carrying ammunition, handgun shooting, hand grenade throwing, and carrying an injured person.
The competition was characterized by strong organization, evaluation, competitive spirit, professionalism, and the maximum commitment of the participating teams.
