Police found an AK-47 and military clothing inside an abandoned house in the village of Dren, in Leposaviq, on Wednesday.
Police were alerted to the case and subsequently arrived at the scene, where they found the weapon, ammunition, military trousers and other items.
“Following information received regarding the case, police units went to the scene and, during a search of an abandoned house, found and confiscated one AK-47, two empty AK-47 magazines, 119 rounds of 7.62×39 mm ammunition, military trousers, one cap and a military thermos. The prosecutor was also informed and consulted regarding the case,” the Kosovo Police report stated.
