Work has begun in the village of Romaja, in Prizren, to install pipes aimed at improving water flow and preventing flooding of agricultural land and nearby homes.

Prizren Mayor Shaqir Totaj announced the start of the works in a Facebook post.

According to Totaj, the project is being closely monitored by Nderim Kadriaj, Director of Agriculture and Rural Development, to ensure the work proceeds smoothly and residents’ needs are addressed.

Totaj emphasised that these interventions are important for protecting residents’ property and agricultural land, particularly during periods of heavy rainfall.
