Kosovo Police Director General Colonel Gazmend Hoxha met on Wednesday with Admiral George M. Wikoff, commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples, and Major General Roberto Vergori, the new commander of the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR), to discuss the security situation in Kosovo and ways to strengthen cooperation.
According to a statement from the Kosovo Police, Hoxha was accompanied by his associates during the meeting, where he briefed the senior military officials on the current security situation in the country and the cooperation between Kosovo Police and the KFOR mission.
The discussions also covered other security-related issues, with a particular focus on further advancing cooperation with NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples and KFOR.
The meeting underscores the continued coordination between Kosovo’s police authorities and NATO’s mission in Kosovo on matters related to security and stability.
