Kosovo Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu today met with a delegation from the Women’s Economic Forum to discuss cooperation with the Assembly on advancing legislative policies aimed at strengthening women’s economic empowerment and gender equality.
Haxhiu said the meeting focused on interinstitutional cooperation and opportunities to develop policies that promote women’s economic participation from a gender equality perspective.
She also congratulated the Women’s Economic Forum on the 10th anniversary of its establishment and expressed her readiness to cooperate in areas of mutual interest.
Haxhiu emphasized that the Forum’s expertise and experience would be valuable to the Assembly, particularly through training for members of parliament and contributions to the work of parliamentary committees.
