Civil society activist Kaltrina Kamberi has criticized the international community for their lack of response to Serbia after the release of a video showing Serbs being trained in Serbia with flags opposing NATO and claiming that Kosovo belongs to Serbia.
Kamberi emphasizes that the allies’ lack of reaction to such a threat is irresponsible and ironic.
“A video shared on social media depicts individuals being trained in Serbia, displaying flags opposing NATO and asserting that Kosovo belongs to Serbia. These extremist groups in Banjskë are seen as a potential threat to our nation. The footage shows new groups being instructed in Serbia to launch attacks in the four northern municipalities of Kosovo. The video also features NATO flags, representing resistance to the actions of the North Atlantic alliance, along with a slogan that ‘Kosovo is part of Serbia.’ The lack of response from ‘our international allies’ regarding this critical issue, which could escalate tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, is both irresponsible and ironic. It is hypocritical to engage in discussions with Serbia and @Avucic while their primary objective is the reclamation of Albanian territories, particularly Kosovo. Serbia has not only failed to honor agreements during negotiations but is also planning an attack on Kosovo,” she wrote on X.
