The Mayor of Mitrovica and PDK’s candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, commemorated Kosovo Hero Enver Zymberi on the 13th anniversary of his death in the line of duty.
Hamza stated that Kosovo is eternally grateful for Zymberi’s contribution.
“Enver Zymberi is a hero of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of independent Kosovo,” he said.
Enver Zymberi was killed on July 25, 2011.
On that day, the special forces ROSU encountered resistance from Serbs while carrying out an operation to take control of the border points.
He was declared a “Hero of Kosovo” at the time by President Atifete Jahjaga.
