Improving Customs procedures: The implementation of new systems and technologies to simplify and speed up customs processes has played a key role in achieving this success.
Fight against smuggling and tax evasion: Intensified measures and cooperation with other law enforcement agencies have contributed to reducing smuggling and tax evasion, increasing revenues.

Transparency and public education: Increased public awareness and education of citizens and businesses about the importance of compliance with customs laws has resulted in higher compliance and, therefore, higher revenues.

The General Director of Kosovo Customs, Mr. Agron Llugaliu expressed his gratitude to the staff of the Customs and to the strategic partners who have helped to achieve this success: “This is an important moment for the Customs of Kosovo and for all the citizens of our country, the collection of 1 billion euros in revenue is proof of the tireless work, dedication and professionalism of the Kosovo Customs”
