Ukraine now controls approximately 1,000 square kilometers of territory in Russia’s Kursk region and continues its military offensive, according to the Chief of the Ukrainian Army.

General Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this in a video shared by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

Zelensky stated that he has ordered the creation of a “humanitarian plan” for the area, BBC reported.
