Serbia’s President Vucic Meets Lajcak in Prague: Whines About Kosovo’s Latest Move

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic sat down with Slovak envoy Miroslav Lajcak in Prague at the Globsec Forum today. Apparently, Vucic couldn’t resist using the opportunity to whine about Kosovo’s recent police operation in the north. According to Vucic, “Serb rights are being trampled once again, and their safety is under threat.”

In classic Vucic style, he labeled the Kosovo police’s action in four northern municipalities as “arrogant moves by Pristina.” How dare they enforce the law and disrupt his carefully curated narrative?

So, while Kosovo’s authorities are busy tackling illegal activities, Vucic is busy calling for sympathy over what he describes as the “repeated violation of rights” and “threat to Serbian safety.” All in a day’s work for the president who seems to prefer playing the victim over dealing with reality.
