Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met today with the new head of the EU Office in Pristina, Aivo Orav.
Osmani stated that Kosovo continues to lead in reforms across all areas, harmonizing its legislation with EU standards and fully aligning with the EU’s common foreign and security policy. During the meeting with Orav, Osmani emphasized that Kosovo has met all the conditions to obtain candidate status.
“The meeting also covered recent developments in the country, including security issues and the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of the European Union to achieve common goals. In this spirit, President Osmani reiterated the importance of treating aspiring states based on merit and embracing the values that are the foundation of the EU,” the statement highlights.
