The Defense Attaché of Italy in Kosovo, Colonel Stefano Angioni, had a farewell meeting with the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, alongside the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, Antonello De Riu.

The Italian embassy announced on X today that Italy remains committed to security in Kosovo, noting that it has 1,065 troops deployed in KFOR for this purpose. “A truly pleasant meeting with Ejup Maqedonci to bid farewell to Italian Military Attaché Stefano Angioni. Italy remains committed to the security and stability of Kosovo with its 1,065 troops involved in KFOR and aims to further strengthen its bilateral cooperation,” wrote the embassy.

Meanwhile, the minister also thanked Colonel Angioni for his service and contributions to advancing the capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and for enhancing bilateral cooperation with the Italian Armed Forces.
