As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF), the KSF’s Medical Regiment participated in a joint exercise with the Medical Service of the AAF, focusing on Role 1 (ROL1) training.
According to an announcement from the KSF, the aim of this exercise was to enhance the medical interoperability between the two forces, with the shared goal of integrating into NATO structures.
“This is an important step in harmonizing and standardizing procedures for this vital combat support function. The exercise also holds significant importance for the preparation of both units for NATO’s MEDEVAL process,” the statement said.
The KSF expressed gratitude to the Albanian Armed Forces for their continuous cooperation and support in the development of bilateral activities. Both forces regularly engage in joint activities to fulfill their respective objectives, contributing to regional peace and security as well as broader stability.
