Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, visited the site of the explosion at the Ibër-Lepenc canal system in the village of Varagë, Zubin Potok. He was accompanied by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla.
“The police have conducted raids, there have been arrests, material evidence has been collected, and all these criminals and terrorists will face justice, the full force of the just law of the democratic and independent Republic of Kosovo,” Kurti said from the scene in a statement to the media.
After the explosion, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the state is determined and prepared to protect its citizens and critical infrastructure.
Following the explosion at the Ibër-Lepenc canal in Zubin Potok, Kurti said that an extraordinary effort is being made, and the institutions of Kosovo are highly prepared, having significantly repaired the damage caused in record time.
