The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development, and Dialogue, Besnik Bislimi, has traveled for an official visit to the United States.
The Office of the Prime Minister announced that during his stay, the Deputy Prime Minister will hold meetings with U.S. congressmen, representatives from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, and will also have discussions with the Director for Central and Southern European Affairs at the U.S. State Department, Colleen Hyland.
“Part of the agenda will include a meeting with Ambassador Michael Carpenter, who serves as the Senior Director for Europe at the National Security Council, and participation in a roundtable discussion at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS),” the announcement reads.
