Ferizaj began the spring season with a win.
The team triumphed in a match against Feronikeli ’74, with a 2-1 result, on Monday in the final game of week 19 in the elite of Kosovo football.
Edon Sadriu (21’) broke the deadlock, putting the home team ahead 1-0, while Betim Haxhimusa (40’) doubled Ferizaj’s lead to 2-0.
The visitors managed to narrow the gap when Arlind Maloku scored in the 80th minute, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.
With this win, Ferizaj moves up to seventh place with 23 points, while Nikli remains at the bottom with 10 points.
