The European Union emphasizes that currently, the EU Special Representative Peter Sorensen and High Representative Kaja Kallas are considering how to move forward with the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. The functionalization of the talks remains a priority for Brussels.
“I do not have a date for you at this point, but we will announce it when the time comes. At the moment, we have a new EU Special Representative, Peter Sorensen, who is already actively engaging with interlocutors and partners on how we will proceed,” said Anitta Hipper, EU spokesperson.
“For us, this is a fundamental position and also a priority for the High Representative regarding the dialogue and normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. Regarding the dialogue, the High Representative will meet with the EU Special Representative to discuss how we move forward,” Hipper added.
