CEC: Vote Counting from Diplomatic Missions Expected to Finish Tonight

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the counting of votes from diplomatic missions is expected to be completed tonight.

Once the counting of these votes is finished, the counting of postal votes will begin at the Counting and Results Center.

“Currently, votes from diplomatic missions are being counted. By this afternoon shift, 11 polling stations are expected to be completed. The results from today’s counting will soon be displayed on the electronic platform. After that, we will begin counting the votes of the diaspora who voted by mail,” the CEC said.

The number of votes from diplomatic missions is 15,352.

Meanwhile, regarding postal votes, according to CEC data, there are around 69,000 packages with ballots, of which 62,990 have been approved.

Conditional votes amount to 12,801, while the number of votes from persons with special needs is 2,597.
