Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that despite the tough dialogue, Ukraine and the United States remain strategic partners.
In a post on X, the Ukrainian president wrote that America’s support has been crucial for Ukraine’s survival, and he acknowledges this.
“Despite the tough dialogue, we remain strategic partners. But we must be honest and direct with each other to truly understand our common goals,” Zelensky wrote.
He added that Ukraine is “very grateful” to the United States for all the support, especially during the three years of full-scale occupation, and thanked President Trump.
“I want the US to stand even stronger on our side,” he continued.
