Former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, emphasized that Kosovo must return to the White House as soon as possible and that the next government of the country must be clearly pro-American, according to KosovaPress.
A member of the LDK Presidency, Hoti stated that September 2020 should not remain the only moment when Kosovo was honored and respected by the White House.
“Kosovo must return to the White House as soon as possible, as it is the only door to knock on for securing new recognitions and memberships, for major infrastructure and energy projects, for NATO membership, and other organizations, and to receive guarantees for national security. The next government of Kosovo must be clearly pro-American, professional, with a clear program, and above all, courageous enough to make the major decisions that will pull the country out of the crisis it has found itself in over the past few years,” Hoti wrote, as reported by KosovaPress.
Hoti also wrote that the U.S. is the only door to secure new recognitions and memberships, as well as for major infrastructure projects.
