The Presidency of Kosovo has confirmed that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit Kosovo, highlighting the importance of NATO’s role in maintaining peace and security in the region.

President Vjosa Osmani met with the KFOR Commander to discuss coordination ahead of Rutte’s visit, emphasizing that stability in Kosovo is crucial for regional security.

Visit Scheduled for March 11

According to reports from Radio Free Europe (RFE/RL), Rutte is expected to arrive in Kosovo on March 11, accompanied by ambassadors from NATO member states who are part of the North Atlantic Council.

While NATO has not yet officially confirmed the visit, Rutte had previously stated in a Bratislava debate that he planned to visit Kosovo in March.
