The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented on the protest regarding the TikTok platform in a press conference.
The leader of the opposition urged students to start boycotting classes and added that schools should not dare to stop them.
“The boycott of classes must begin. Whoever imposes censorship is trampling on your future. TikTok is currently the most modern means of communication. The problem is that a person with no authority, with no law, is trying to publicly ban TikTok just because you criticize it. You have the right to start a strike and boycott classes.
On Monday, miss the first hour as much as possible. I call on parents not to send their children to school, at least for the first hour on Monday, as an act in the battle of your children for freedom of expression and against censorship. No teacher will dare stop you from striking; those who do will face the consequences,” said Berisha.
