The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, stated that the European Union has now clearly reacted by declaring that Serbia has violated the Ohrid Agreement by blocking Kosovo from obtaining special guest status in the Council of Europe.
Furthermore, Rohde also declared that Germany stands with Kosovo, supporting its full membership aspirations.
“The European Union has reacted strongly: Serbia’s actions in the Council of Europe that hinder Kosovo’s progress violate the Ohrid Agreement of 2023. Germany stands with Kosovo, supporting its aspiration for full membership in the Council of Europe and helping to secure votes based on its merits,” he wrote.
