Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, amid ongoing discussions about the war in Ukraine and international support for Kyiv.
However, Zelensky is not expected to participate in the high-level U.S.-Ukraine talks scheduled for Tuesday in Jeddah, according to a report by BBC.
U.S. Envoy Reaffirms Support for Ukraine
Meanwhile, Steve Witkoff, the Middle East envoy for Donald Trump, emphasized that the U.S. never restricted intelligence sharing when it came to providing defensive assistance to Ukraine.
Witkoff is part of the American delegation set to meet with Ukrainian officials in Jeddah on Tuesday.
The visit comes as Kyiv continues efforts to secure military and diplomatic backing amid prolonged hostilities with Russia.
