The President of the country, Vjosa Osmani, has expressed condolences for the death of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former President Hashim Thaçi, reports Sinjali.
Osmani stated that his contribution and love for the homeland will become a guiding light and a source of pride for all those who knew him.
“With sorrow, we received the news of the passing of Mr. Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former President and former Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi.
The loss of a father is an immeasurable pain, leaving an irreplaceable void among loved ones. His contribution and love for the homeland, I hope, will become a guiding light and a source of pride for all those who knew him.
On my behalf and on behalf of the people of Kosovo, I express my deepest condolences to former President Thaçi, the entire Thaçi family, as well as to the friends and all the relatives of Mr. Haxhi Thaçi.
May his memory be eternal! May the soil of Kosovo rest lightly upon him!”
