Parliamentary Speaker Glauk Konjufca has expressed condolences for the death of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former President Hashim Thaçi.
Konjufca wrote after midnight that they stand by the Thaçi family in these moments, adding that Haxhi Thaçi will remain present in the memories he left behind.
“With deep sorrow, I received the news that Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former President Hashim Thaçi, has passed away.
My sincerest condolences to the family, who have lost their loved one! We stand by them in these moments of grief!
Although Haxhi Thaçi is no longer with us, he will remain present in the memories he left behind, in the hearts of those who had him close and shared their lives with him.”
