President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has stated that the date for the constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly will be announced soon. However, she emphasized that everything will be done according to constitutional deadlines.

Osmani made the statement to the media, confirming that they have officially received the certified election results from the Central Election Commission (KQZ) for the February 9th elections.

KosovaPress attempted to obtain a response from Prime Minister Albin Kurti regarding the timing of consultations for a new government, but no response was given.

According to Kosovo’s Constitution, the president must call the constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly within 30 days of the certification of the election results by KQZ.

The final results of the February 9th general elections have been certified by KQZ. Based on these results, the Vetëvendosje Movement received 42.30%, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) received 20.95%, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) received 18.27%, and the AAK-Nisma coalition received 7.06%.
