On Wednesday morning, activists protesting against electricity price increases blocked the offices of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE), demanding the withdrawal of the proposed 15% hike.

In a Facebook post, the activists stated:
“ZRRE is under blockade. This will continue until ZRRE publicly commits to not approving the 15% price increase. Only then will they be able to return to work.”

The protest is organized under the slogan “Asnji Cent Ma Shumë” (Not a Cent More).

🔹 April 11 Decision Day: ZRRE is set to decide on the tariff increase.
🔹 Political Response: The Presidency opposes the hike, while the government suggests adjusting block tariffs instead.

The proposed increase has sparked weeks of backlash, with activists determined to pressure authorities into reversing course.
