Today, the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development, and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, met with the Minister of Local Government Administration and the leader of the New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo (IRDK), Elbert Krasniqi, to discuss the formation of the new government following the certification of the results of the February 9th elections.
According to the media release, this meeting was part of ongoing consultations held by the Prime Minister with the political parties of minorities. Present at the meeting was also the MP and member of the IRDK, Fridon Lala.
“Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mr. Krasniqi for the close cooperation during this government mandate and the work carried out. For his part, the leader of IRDK, Elbert Krasniqi, confirmed the full readiness to continue this fruitful cooperation and his support for Prime Minister Kurti in forming the new government,” the statement said.
