After the parliamentary elections in Kosovo and the certification of their results by the Central Election Commission, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has announced that the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo will take place on April 15, 2025.

After a period of around two months since the elections, this is the first step in the process of forming new state institutions and the start of the new Assembly’s work.

In relation to this, the Deputy Leader of AAK, Ardian Gjini, stated that his party will support any candidate for the Speaker of the Assembly, proposed by the winning party.

“I believe yes, this topic has not even been discussed in AAK, but if you ask me, we will vote for whoever is proposed for Speaker of the Assembly by the winning party,” said Gjini in an interview with RTV21.

Furthermore, he mentioned that AAK will lobby as much as possible to assist the opposition in forming a Government.
