Kaja Kallas in Tirana Today, Meets with Begaj and Rama

Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, is conducting an official visit to Tirana today as part of her tour through the Western Balkans.

She arrives in Tirana following her visit to Montenegro, where she met with President Jakov Milatović, Prime Minister Miloš Spajić, and representatives of civil society.

Today, Kallas is scheduled to meet with President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama, where a joint press conference with the Prime Minister is expected to take place.

Subsequent meetings will be held with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, and Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu.

Tomorrow, the high-ranking official will make a stop in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Kallas will hold meetings with the members of the tripartite Presidency, the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, the Foreign Minister of Bosnia, and representatives of the European Force in Bosnia, EUFOR, concluding her tour.
