A 26-year-old man was reported missing in Albania.
Rescue teams have been searching for Ajet Lleshi, 26, for the past two days.
Recently, there were reports stating that his body had been found with no signs of life, but this was denied by the rescue teams.
The Kosovo Rescue Association has declared that the search is ongoing and that the 26-year-old has still not been located or found.
The search continues today in the mountainous area of Pashtrik.
“Today, on April 8, 2025, all teams involved in the search-and-rescue operation are engaged in the continuation of the search for Ajet Lleshi, 26, in the mountainous area of Pashtrik, in Cahan, Albania. The Kosovo Rescue Association strongly denies the information spread on some social networks and unofficial media claiming that the person has been found dead. These reports are false and not based on official data or confirmation from the responsible authorities.”
It has also been called upon citizens and media outlets to rely only on official information in order to avoid hindering the search process.
