The verdict issued by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, in which Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi were convicted on September 16, has been published in Albanian on the court’s website.
One detail that stands out at the beginning of the verdict is a statement by the presiding judge, Charles Smith, who invites the court photographer to take photographs inside the courtroom before the hearing begins.
However, he clarifies that Hashim Thaçi’s defence team had requested that he not be photographed.
