A 41-year-old woman from Niš, Serbia, is the target of an international police manhunt over her alleged involvement in one of Europe’s largest jewellery robberies. Dutch investigators suspect Ninoslava Jović of assisting in the heist at the prestigious TEFAF art and antiques fair in Maastricht, where jewellery worth approximately €40 million was stolen.

Jović has been placed on Europe’s most-wanted fugitives list. Her photographs and personal description have been published on the websites of Dutch police and Europol. According to investigators, she is currently believed to be living in Serbia and was last seen in Niš. Police have not ruled out the possibility that she has travelled to another country.

The case involves a robbery that exposed the reach of an organised criminal operation targeting high-value jewellery. On June 28, 2022, thieves struck the TEFAF exhibition in Maastricht, escaping with jewellery estimated to be worth around €40 million.

Among the stolen pieces was a necklace featuring a yellow diamond valued at up to €27 million.

Dutch investigators suspect that four men involved in the robbery belong to the notorious Pink Panthers criminal network, known for targeting luxury jewellery stores and stealing valuable items across the world.

Now, four years after the theft, the investigation has led to an international search for Jović. Her alleged role in the operation has placed her among Europe’s most wanted fugitives, while investigators continue to pursue those suspected of involvement in the multimillion-euro robbery.

The fact that Jović is believed to be residing in Serbia makes the international manhunt particularly significant. Dutch police are seeking information about her whereabouts and have not excluded the possibility that she may be outside the country.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the allegations against Jović have not yet been established by a court.
