The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, sent a letter yesterday inviting the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, for a meeting.
In response to this invitation, today Lumir Abdixhiku will gather the vice presidents of his party for a meeting to discuss the invitation from the leader of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti.
According to sources from Rks News, the meeting is expected to begin at 16:00.
In the letter addressed to Abdixhiku, Kurti proposed several time options for the potential meeting.
“With the certification of the final results of the parliamentary elections held on February 9, 2025, by the Central Election Commission, as you know, the President has scheduled the first meeting of the Ninth Legislature of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo for April 15, 2025.
In order to fully constitute the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and proceed with the formation of the new government, I invite you to a meeting on Wednesday, April 9, at 15:00, or Thursday, April 10, at 09:00 or 14:00. I look forward to your response regarding this meeting,” Kurti’s letter reads.
