Kurti and French MPs Discuss Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue

The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted a working dinner with members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly, Marine Hamelet, Frédéric Petit, Pierre Pribetich, Jean, and Louis Roumégas. The dinner was organized by the Ambassador of France to Kosovo, Olivier Guérot.

The discussions focused on the bilateral relations between Kosovo and France and the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in further deepening and expanding intergovernmental cooperation. They also talked about the relations with Serbia, the Brussels-mediated dialogue process, and the Basic Agreement reached there along with its implementation annex.

Kurti expressed his gratitude to the MPs for their visit and thanked the French state for its ongoing support and assistance. He updated them on recent developments in the country and shared the progress achieved over the past four years, both economically and in terms of democracy and human rights.

The dinner, held at the residence of the French Ambassador in Kosovo, also covered the steps forward in forming the institutions of the ninth legislature following the certification of the results of the February 9th elections and the session convened by the country’s president for April 15th.
